Divisionals is the individual championship meet includes the same individual events as an A Meet, plus Individual Medley (IM) events for swimmers ages 9 and older. In the IM, swimmers complete one length of each stroke in this order: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.
Each team in the division is allotted two lanes per event. Swimmers will sign up for the events they wish to swim, and the fastest two times typically determine entries. If another team does not fill its lanes, additional swimmers from other teams may be invited based on the next-fastest times.
This meet serves as the qualifier for the All-Star Individual Championship Meet. The 18 fastest times across all divisional meets qualify for All-Stars in each event.
This year's Divisionials are held at home - Poplar Heights on July 25. We love hosting Divisionials! The Individiual All-Stars will be held August 1 at Vienna Woods.
