Poplar Heights Swim Team

Swimmers: Everly (10), Rosemary (9), and Henry (6)

Responsibilities: My co-team representative, Kerry Ryan, and I support PH Crush by preparing for the season, and helping to make sure everything runs smoothly with our team, our coaching staff, Saturday meets, and championships.

Why do you volunteer? Swimming was such an important part of my life growing up, and nothing else is like summer swim! I was so excited to share this experience with my own children, and I love helping to make Poplar Heights the most fun it can be for our whole team.

• Responsibilities Along with my co-team rep, Alex Guest, I ensure PH Crush is following the guidance of the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL) in all areas related to A meets. Together, Alex and I work closely with our coaches, communicate with the Team Reps in our Division and the Division Coordinator, coordinate A meet volunteers, and submit entries for Saturday A meets and Divisionals, among other tasks!
• Why do you volunteer? PH Crush has played such a special role in our family's summers since we joined! I love the spirit of our program and want to keep the traditions and successes alive for our current and future teams.
