Kick off the season with your first official swim!

Time Trials marks the start of our meet season and is an important (and fun!) opportunity for swimmers to set baseline times. These times help coaches evaluate swimmers and build lineups for the first dual A meet, while giving swimmers a benchmark to improve throughout the season.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, June 13
  • Warm-ups: 8:30 AM
  • Start Time: 9:00 AM
  • Location: Poplar Heights Pool

Who Participates?

  • Open to all swim team members
  • Each swimmer may swim up to 4 strokes:
    • Freestyle
    • Backstroke
    • Breaststroke
    • Butterfly
  • Swimmers are encouraged to try all four strokes

Please note:

  • Crush Course swimmers do not participate
  • For younger swimmers who have not tried breaststroke or butterfly, check with coaches before signing up

If You Cannot Attend

If your swimmer cannot attend Time Trials, they may swim up to two strokes at the first B meet.

Participation is strongly encouraged so coaches can evaluate swimmers and build effective meet lineups.

Volunteer Requirement

Time Trials is run by our team only, so we need about twice the number of volunteers as a typical meet.

If your swimmer is participating, we ask that you volunteer.

How to Sign Up Your Swimmer

There are two parts to Time Trials signup:

  1. Enter your swimmer in events
  2. Sign up to volunteer

To register your swimmer:

  • Go to Swim Meets & Events

  • Click Meet Entry, then Edit
  • Mark your swimmer as Available
